What Church Are You A Part Of?

The apostle Paul exhorted people to test themselves to see if they were really in the faith, really Christians. This is a challenge for EVERY professing Christian in this dark time of religious deception and willful ignorance we are currently living in. This Scripture is more current than the front page of the newspaper:

2 Cor 13:5 Test yourselves {to see} if you are in the faith; examine yourselves! Or do you not recognize this about yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you--unless indeed you fail the test? (NASB)

One of the ways we can test ourselves to see if we are in the faith, is to determine what “church” we are a part of. Right now, if you are a professing Christian you are a part of one of two “churches.” One has a form of godliness but denies the power of God to live free FROM sin. The other lives in absolute purity and holiness without which NO ONE will see the Lord.

You are either a part of the “church” which has a

form of godliness, but denies the power to live free from sin:

2 Tim 3:1 But realize this, that in the last days difficult times will come.

2 Tim 3:2 For men will be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, revilers, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy,

2 Tim 3:3 unloving, irreconcilable, malicious gossips, without self-control, brutal, haters of good,

2 Tim 3:4 treacherous, reckless, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God,

2 Tim 3:5 holding to a form of godliness, although they have denied its power; Avoid such men as these.

Or, you are part of the true Church, the one

that HAS been cleansed by the washing of the water with

the Word, the glorious church, NOT HAVING spot or wrinkle

or ANY such thing, the church that is holy and without blemish:

Eph 5:25 Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself up for it;

Eph 5:26 that he might sanctify it, having cleansed it by the washing of water with the word,

Eph 5:27 that he might present the church to himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish. (ASV)

Who Is Your Master

The Central Idea Of Christianity

Jesus said:

Matt 12:33 "Either make the tree good and its fruit good, or make the tree bad and its fruit bad; for the tree is known by its fruit.

The Apostle John said:

1 John 3:10 This is how we know who the children of God are and who the children of the devil are: Anyone who does not do what is right is not a child of God; nor is anyone who does not love his brother. (NIV)

To conclude, please, for the sake of your eternal destiny, ask yourself this question: “What “church” am I a part of?”, or “Am I a real Christian?”
